What is a progressive jackpot?
A progressive jackpot is a prize whose displayed amount can increase as eligible play continues. The game rules define how the pool grows, which bets qualify and what event awards each jackpot tier. A rising prize does not mean that a win is due, and it does not by itself tell you the chance of winning.
